Ok ladies tell me I’m not going crazy, but it seems like the summer is flying by very quickly. With that said, we need Sangria’s and enjoy what’s left of the summer. Staples and Target already have the back to school section set up. I’m not ready for the back to school rush I’m still enjoying my summer. Usually we’re traveling on our summer vacation and out and about on our days off, but this time around we wanted to keep it local by relaxing and just take it easy. With the coming days of hot and humid weather instead of going to beach we’re keeping it local right in our back yard. We fire up the grill have friends over and just jump in the pool. Times like this is where I used my bartending skills and start making a different kind of fruity cocktails and sangria. 🍹 Come on, who doesn’t like fruity cocktail or sangria especially when it’s hot. I’m sharing three of my favorite Summer Sangria Recipes, it’s always been a hit at our house.

White Passion Sangria
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 (750-ml) Bottle of White Wine (Moscato)
- ml) Bottle E&J Brandy
- 1 32oz Goya Passion Juice
- 2 Oranges, sliced
- 2 apples, sliced
- 5-10 Strawberries, sliced
DIRECTIONS
- In a 2 quart pitcher, mix together wine, passion juice, and brandy.
- Wash and cut fruits into small slices.
- Once liquor and juice are mixed in pitcher add the fruits.
- Chill in fridge and serve on ice.
I don’t add sugar because the passion juice and Moscato are already sweet, but if you want it a bit more sweeter, you can add sugar. For this particular sangria I wanted a fruity taste to mix using juice and a semi sweet wine. I also wanted a fruity sangria that was quick and easy to prepare.

Sparkling White Sangria
The awesome thing about sangria it’s the versatility of it. Once you get the hang of mixing together wines and juices you can make any simple, summery, refreshing boozy sangria to your liking.
INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
- In a 2 quart pitcher, mix together Moscato/ Riesling, Grand Marnier and Citrus Sparkling soda.
- Wash and cut fruits into small slices.
- Once liquor and juice are mixed in pitcher add the fruits.
- Chill in fridge and serve on ice.
** For sparkling white sangria if the citrus sparkling soda is something you don’t like you can use champagne or club soda. If you are feeling a bit more fruity you can add berries ( Strawberries, raspberries and blueberries)

Red Sangria
With Red Sangria you have a few options you can use and mix around with. This particular Sangria I used Merlot.
You can use;
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (750 ml) bottle of Merlot
- 2-3 cups of Vodka or Rum (what ever your preference is)
- 2 cups of Orange Juice
- 1-2 Oranges
- 2-3 Apples
- 2 cups blueberries
Tips:
If you want more fruits you can double up on them. You can add peaches, mango and pineapples. Fruits it’s up to your preference.
You want a bit more sweeter taste you can add sugar based on your personal preferences.
The longer you let the sangria to marinate the better the taste.
