Getting motivated to work out and keep a strict schedule with motherhood in the mix is extremely hard. How many time we start off great to begin a fitness journey, exercising everyday but slowly find ourselves falling into a fitness funk and call it quits. Sometimes certain events in our everyday life makes us fall into a fitness funk that we easily loose motivation. Just know you are not alone because it happens to all of us at one point in our life. If you are serious about making that change and going back to your fitness routine, I will share 10 ways for busy mom’s to get motivated to workout.

How do you get your motivated?
1. Set a goal
Make a list on what you want to achieve, whether is losing 10-15 lbs, tone or train for a 5K run. You can even set your Fitness goals to a mini-marathon, mud race or even a bikini competition. Once you commit to one of these there’s no turning back and it will give you the motivation of not to quit.
2. Consult With Doctor
Is extremely important to always consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program or nutrition program. If you haven’t already schedule your yearly physical to make sure you are ok to workout ands start a clean eating diet.
3. MEAL PREP
If you plan to fail you fail to plan. Meal prepping, is so important in order to achieve your fitness goals. Meal prepping has so many beneficials that will give you the results you want. If you have no clue on meal prepping, start off with portion control containers. This system, was introduced via. Beachbody and I found it to be very good for a beginner to start. I’m not a fan of BeachBody but you can get these portion control container at Amazon, cheaper and no commitment. Meal prepping will save you money, and show you what portion control is really like. Once you get into the habit of portion control and counting calories ad macros, then you can invest in a food scale.
Having cute workout outfits, can be just the motivation you need. A couple of months ago, I started going through my gym outfits and realized I needed to step up my fitness fashion. Especially if I wanted it to go with my healthier lifestyle. I’ve explored a few brands and Amazon in which they became my go-to spot for affordable yet super cute workout clothing. I’m a big fan of Ellie Activewear, is a monthly subscription service. You choose one of their pre-styled activewear and accessory filled boxes to get exactly what you love. Delivered directly to your door for an affordable price. I just purchased a few products from Women’s Best and not bad. Their fitness gear are amazing and they have supplements for women. The Gym Wrap, headband that abosrb sweat and doesn’t mess up your hair, great for busy mommas like us. If you want to check out The Gym Wrap click here and get 25% off.
As a mom on the go, I work best having a planner and writing everything down to keep me on track. When you are in a fitness journey is always good to have a Food tracker & Exercise Log to track many aspects of your progress towards a healthier lifestyle.

6. HOME GYM
With all that’s going on, with the Covid-19 Pandemic, many people were forced to workout from home. If you are certain that you will not return to a gym, why not create a home gym. You don’t need fancy equipments or to break the bank to start, just the basic Gym equipment will work fine.
7. SUPPLEMENTS
Choosing the right supplement can be overwhelming, because there’s a ton of supplements on the market to choose from. I do share a Guide To Choosing the Right Supplement for you. I only share products I believe in, used and using. As always, everything I post is based on my personal experience,Always consult with your physician to discuss what are the best supplements.
8. WORKOUT PROGRAMS
I know with the whole Covid-19 Pandemic, many gyms have not opened and some has with restrictions. If you don’t feel comfortable joining a gym, you can set up a home gym without breaking the bank.
I’m a fan of a few fitness influencers and one I really like is Noelle Benepe. She has affordable Fitness programs, especially for mom’s and at home workout. She offer’s an amazing program the 7 Day JumpStart. Is perfect for beginners that has no clue on meal prepping and workout.
9. Sleep 7 Hours
You have to give you body some Tender Loving Care. This sounds like such a no-brainer, but unfortunately, it is not. Your body needs rest and if you’re not getting at least 7 hours of sleep per night you are going to constantly feel exhausted with no motivation. Get into a sleeping habit your body will thank you later.
10. Get outside
Is important that your body get enough Vitamin D for a healthy energy level. Make is a habit to g0 outside regularly, enjoy the sun and fresh air. Go for a walk or enjoy a cup of coffee at your favorite outdoor cafe.
Once you reach your goals, is ok to reward yourself. Having small rewards for yourself is 100% okay after you have hit your fitness goal. Treat yourself to that delicious chocolate fudge cupcake or treat yourself in a summer shopping spree.
