If you decided to start a Yoga journey, congratulations you made a great choice. Sometimes the hardest step is just at the starting line. You don’t need to go out there and buy all yoga equipment, I will guide you with the basic budget-friendly essentials that are more than enough for just starting yoga. If you managed to squeeze in yoga classes into your busy schedule, kudos for you. Just keep in mind that there are many different types of Yoga classes so as a newbie it can be confusing. I suggest starting with a beginner class. It will teach you the basic of poses, and get you comfortable with the postures.
If you are attending a yoga class in a studio you will need/want a few things to take with you;
Feel at ease that a yoga studio is a judgment-free zone. All yoga instructor is super friendly and will guide you and help you in every way. Go in there with a positive mind and you’ll see how the outcome will be. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and trust me you won’t be judged if you can’t do a pose.
You will definitely need a yoga bag f or carrying your mat around. It will make transporting your mat easier, prevent from damaging and losing its shape. It also helps protect your mat from getting dirty.
Yoga Block is a great tool for beginners. As a newbie, your balance is still a bit unsteady, block help you get into the poses. Another benefit of the block that helps you maintain posture when you can’t reach the floor.
Yoga Stretch strap is also excellent for beginners, it provides self-help getting into position. If you are still developing flexibility, the yoga strap will help on posture, alignment, and support. As a newbie, there are muscles that you’re not used to moving and you will need the help and support.

If you have bad knees or joint pain the Yoga Knee Pad will be a great relief. It will add comfort while executing the poses and eliminate pain. Having a bad knee due to an injury can make it difficult and uncomfortable to execute certain poses that can make you to easily give up.
As a beginner, it’s important to equip yourself with the right yoga accessories. Depending on what type of yoga you sign up for they are not all the same and require the use of different type of equipment. It will make your yoga practice more at ease as you get started. Practicing Yoga will be very beneficial to your health and body. At first, it will be quite challenging because your body is not used to it but it will be a life-long passion.
