13.Vicks Vapor Rub
If you grew up in a Latin household, you know that Vicks Vapor Rub (vivaporú) as many Latin called it, was the solution for everything from headaches and scrapes. What we once believed, today Vicks Vapor Rub has to be used appropriately. This is my Mosquito repellent, it wards off mosquitos. You rub a bit on your clothes, skin like arms and legs, clothes never in the face or near the eyes. Those pesky mosquitoes will not get near you. If you get bitten the camphor reduces redness and itching, place a small amount and cover with a bandage.
- Do not use on blisters.
- Do not use on open wounds.
- Do not use near the eyes.
Although it has a strong stench, I don’t care smelling like vivaporu, I put it on my clothes and skin area and those pesky mosquitos stay away.
Vicks vapor rub is great for headaches and muscle aches.
